may have started in a garage. >> dozens of survivors of asian flight at sfo reached a settlement deal from the crash. the pay out comes from more than the korean airliner. our reporter is at the airport with the details. the settlement includes the airline and boeing the company that manufactured the airplane. it has been a year and a half since the asiana flight clipped the seawall while trying to land at sfo. the boeing 777 slammed into the runway. three people were killed. many were injured. 72 passengers have reach a settlement that compensates them for the physical injuries and emotional trauma. attorney frank petri will not say how much passengers are getting but they are "satisfied." >> you can never provide someone

with enough money to compensate what they want through. they agreed it was pair and reasonable and they want to move on and put it behind them. >> he said they are pleased to come to a resolution so quickly. usually it can take several years to reach a deal. the settlement does still need court approval. >> breaking news in san francisco, police are investigating a smash-and-grab burglary a short time ago. it happened at music lovers audio and video on bush extreme near steiner. three men wearing ski masks stole items after busting the window. they sell audio and video equipment. police are on the scene. we will have a report in next few minutes. a school board meets tonight and attending is an 11-year-old and his parent.

saying the wording of the law does not permit people to buy insurance in 34 states that did not set up their own exchanges. a ruling against the as could mean the loss of coverage for millions of americans. we are joined from washington dc with more. good morning this is the second time the supreme court has looked at obamacare and the justices first decide it was not unconstitutional and now three years later another case is just as critical. a case that could unravel the entire 2,000 page affordable health care act on a technicality much the supreme court is hearing arguments about these four words "established by the state." obamacare open importants say that means more than seven million people are not eligible to get subsidies from the federal government to buy health insurance. >> the challengers argue the language is crystal clear that subsidies are available only in states that have established

covering santa rosa berkeley san jose and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. good morning. a look at the golden gate bridge. it is chilly. it will warm up nicely. meteorologist mike nicco will will have the forecast in a bit. san francisco spent $400,000 a year to pick up garbage left at the park each week. on friday a playground sand box was closed off at a playground after glass was found in the sand. officials say someone drinking there smashed beer bottles along the retaining wall and all of the sand must be replaced. drinking in the park is again the law but it does not stop thousands partying on the weekends when the weather is

>> new details involving the fatal shooting of the san francisco man in antioch. police have identified the victim as 21 year old chris christopher monaco. he died at scene. an officer heard the gunshots and saw a car speeding off without lights crashing into a woman's garage. the woman was shaken up but okay. the people in the car two men and a woman are under arrest on suspicion of murder. officers found the shotgun two blocks from the shooting. >> santa cruz county animal control officers hope an increased reward will find the person who threw two docks from a moving vehicle. the reward is now $25,000. a mother dog and her puppy were stuffed into a sandbag and tossed open to the side of the road at watsonville. the puppy died and the mother dog chewed its way out of the bag and refused to lebanon the puppy. a large contribution from anonymous donor is funding the
